Geocache Description:

This black bull monument stands as testimony to the Angus bull "Earl Marshall" and his breeder, W.A. McHenry. This park was once part of the McHenry pasture. The highlight of 30 years of the McHenry breeding program was the raising of a bull that became one of the greatest bulls of all time "Earl Marshall, "The King of Sires." Born in 1914, "Earl Marshall" sired many show ring winners, as well as, prominent sons and daughters that took their place in herds throughout the nation. The "Earl Marshall" bloodline made an impact on the Angus breed that continues to be important in the cattle industry to this day. *Denison Angus Association 1982
