While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this cache it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. Geocache Description:

Free Rocks!!

People come here to get the rocks (or the pieces of rocks) that fall from when the road was put in. Don’t be surprised if you see someone loading up there truck/trailer. It’s neat to see the effects of water running down the face of the rocks and how it can cut the rock over time. I am sure the bulk of the rocks that fall here are the effect of water freezing in the winter.

This can be a busy area but you should be able to park close to the cache and use your car to block the view of anyone passing by.

Due to the un-even terrain I would not try this in a wheelchair.

Please place the cache back as you find it. The container is large enough to hold travel items.
