Geocache Description:

The cache is a 35mm film pot.

The cache is hidden near to Pevensey Castle.

It is also near to St. Nicolas Church at Pevensey.

It's also near a pub which, depending on your point of view, might be even more of a reason to stop and find this cache.

There are several usual type of places in this area where this cache could be hidden.

If you have the time, walk around the outside of the castle and see the many disguised WW2 pillboxes in the flint walls of the castle.
Unless you are a member of English Heritage, you will need to pay to enter the Keep of the castle and see some of the best pillboxes.

Apparently some guy called William the Tanner's Son stayed here for a short time during 1066.
