Geocache Description:

The Gateway to San Benito County almost starts here. The county line is just south of here. This is our very first cache to hide! After logging over 100 successful finds, we figured it was about time to place some of our own. Hopefully, this will be the first of many more in San Benito County. Should be pretty easy. There is a FTF prize in the log bag.

Please watch little ones. This is near the road and although traffic slows down to stop –hopefully- there seemed to be quite a bit of vehicle traffic passing by when we placed the cache.
***Update--You should park at the turnout on the west side on Bloomfield... it is not far from here. No need to go near the intersection or into the swampy area. ;-)

Below is a link to some information on the area provided by the local Chamber of Commerce. It is slightly outdated, but not a lot changes around here... except that the new sewer is complete and the building moratorium has been lifted… may have something to do with all the local “poop” caches… hmmmmmm…

I listed this as a micro, it's kind of in between; a little large for a true micro, but not big enough to be considered a small.

Bring your own writing utensil.
