4 Kids From Kids Traditional Cache

all4familycaching: We went to grab this one and hopefully do some maintenance and move it. But when we got there the cache was gone and we searched for a possible new hiding spot but with the forest crawling with muggle kids we couldn't find a safe spot. So we decided to archive this one and we have another Ammo box full of goodies for kids. We have a few spots where we would like to put it and with our busy work/sports schedule we hope to get it hidden and published soon.

Our kids would like to thank all of the geocaching kids and grown up cachers to for finding and liking their cache.

Geocache Description:

A small forest area near park in north Whitby.

There is nothing more exciting to a kid while out caching than asking what size of cache you are looking for. And then you respond with an Ammo box. Our kids know that when they are looking for an Ammo box that there is always toys inside to trade with. So with that in thought our kids wanted to hide an Ammo box so that other kids can get excited about Geocaching as they do. We stuffed it FULL of toys and a log book too.

We used to go to this park located on Whitburn St in Whitby, Whitburn Park. Just off of Brock St south of Taunton Rd. Our kids loved playing at this park and we never realized that there was a trail going through the entire forest area. You can park at the school after school hours and on the weekends or you can park on Whitburn St just passed the baseball field. You can access the trailhead from either spot.

Please be aware of muggles as this forrest area is very popular for kids. It took us quite a while to place the cache because of all the kids. But I'm sure that was just because it was just after school time. When you are done with the cache please ensure that it is well hidden like we did that way the rest of the geo kids can find it.

If you don't have anything tradeable's then take something anyways (for the kids). We will try and keep it stocked.
