For all the babies and one who still grieves.
This cache is in honor of a dear friend of mine. She is one of the best parents I know and thoroughly enjoys her now nearly grown children. But that is only part of the story, because you see... this most loving of women has lost two babies in years past, and she still grieves for them. Though the sun has risen and set many hundreds of time as the years went by one by one, yet she grieves inside. You see, quite by accident when I was placing this cache I came across the monument raised to other Mother's lost babies. It is beautiful and also touching at the same time. Little lives that were oh so short and the families that grieve for them. Search for and find this cache, and then take a moment to sit on the little bench with the tiles; each one denoting a family's loss.. and when you do, think of Carol as I do daily. Because you see, she grieves still but goes on.
