Butterball is the mother of Peewee, and a friend of Katie and Happy. Butterball was Woomer's mother's cat while she lived on Lake Corpus Christi, TX in a nice cabin on the lake.
I found BB, hiding, after a hurricane blew through the area. She had been injured, somehow, and despite everyone's opinion to the contrary, I rushed her to a vet in Beeville, TX. Turns out she had been snake bit and delivered a litter of kittens before I could pick her up. All but one kitten, Peewee, died due to the venom. Katie (who was living in Woomer's boat) adopted Peewee and nursed her as her surrogate mother. Butterball completely recovered, amazing us all.
All led happy long lives.
