I believe these to be Halifax's first QR Code caches. They were a novelty when the caches were first placed but they're pretty much mainstream now. Just about any smartphone can decode them. This one holds the text for the real coordinates.


The cache is actually visible from the trail. Please use caution so you are not spotted by the many walkers here.
