Geocache Description:

A nanocache hidden in the heart of one of the Peak Districts most popular villages. You'll have to have a hunt around avoiding prying eyes with this one.

Castleton is a gem of the Peak District, it is nestled at the end of a beautiful valley surrounded by beautiful countryside including Winnats Pass, Mam Tor, Cavedale and a number of Caverns such as Treak Cliff, Blue John, Peak Cavern and Speedwell.
The location of this cache is a good start for trips to all of these wonders. There is ample parking both along the road into Castleton from Winnats pass and in the town car park and the cache is a few minutes walk from here.

On warm breezy days you can look out to Mam Tor and see the paragliders hurling themselves off the side of the hill (I'd love to have a go at that one day!)

The Cache is a nanocache so think about where it could be.
