Not happy! Did the math, drove to site, took the hike thru nearly knee high grass, stumbled thru the overgrowth forest all while feeding the blood thristy monsters and still came up empty handed! Totalbs js!

I absolutely love SQs cuz they are usually pretty simple with quick finds, this one sucked!

Geocache Description:

This cache hunt will begin in Lena Cemetery, located in Clinton Twp, Fulton County. Lena Cemetery is small, old, and out of service but is still maintained very well by the township. Parking is along side the road and the second stage is a short drive and a hike away.

Lena Cemetery is located on land that was originally deeded to Thomas Santee in 1837 but passed through several different owners throughout the years. For a while it was owned by the Miley family and carried their name for some time, but a plat map from 1875 shows the surrounding property owned by a W Quackenbush. In 1869 the cemetery was given to the Clinton Township trustees who still maintain it.


When you get to the cemetery you'll want to find the graves of two veterans of the Civil War.
Leonard Falconer was by no means a young man when he joined the war effort. He joined up and was assigned to the Company K of the 38 Regiment OVI. Unfortunately his war ended on November 26, 1862 at the Battle of Pilot Knob in Missouri where he was one of about 250 Union casualties in a battle that saw a much smaller Union force defend their fort against an overpowering Confederate force. For the north coordinates take his age in years and add to N41 30.(765).
JN Jone's war experience took him in a different direction. He was mustered into the Army on February 20, 1862 and originally served in southern Ohio and West Virginia. After awhile, his Infantry unit was sent further east and saw action in the Second Battle of Bull Run and Gettysburg before being sent down to South Carolina and Georgia on coastal duty. For the west coordinates take the number of his infantry division and add to W084 08.(607).
Now that you've done the math it's off to the final. A short drive and a hike later you will find a small lock and lock.
