This cache is located about 10 to 12 feet off the paved sidewalk that runs through the wash from the Kohl's parking lot to little Legacy Park on Arroyo Grande. Terrain is rocky once you leave the sidewalk, and not suitable for wheelchairs.
This is a 5-cup plastic Rubbermaid lock box, and should be an easy find. Your biggest concern will be keeping an eye out for Muggles, both in the houses that rim the wash and also walking on the sidewalk through the wash -- this seems to be a popular dog-walking route for the surrounding neighborhoods. Please use discretion and be sure to cover the cache completely before leaving the area. (The 2 difficulty rating is because of the Muggle activity in the area.)
Parking is easily available at the Kohl's end of the sidewalk, but rather challenging if trying to enter from the park on Arroyo Grande. While you're in the neighborhood, be sure to stop at Kold in the Desert, too.
This cache is dedicated to moving geocoins along, and its initial contents are four geocoins I picked up in Hawaii during my recent vacation there plus three of my own. There is space available for other small trackables, too.
Given the fact that this cache location is exposed to the blazing desert sun, gloves to protect your hands while retrieving the cache would be a good idea during summer months!
