A Wisconsin Spirit Quest cache. For those of you with
tresadecaphobia...this is my 13th hide. The corner of Junction Road
and Mineral Point road is still referred to as Middleton Junction
and is the starting point for the City of Middleton. Although now a
traffic nightmare, it has been a busy intersection for centuries.
This is now an offset cache and not a traditional as listed
previously.
At the first WP take the year the town was established and
subtract 1172. That will give you XXX.
Take the year of the first burial and add it to the year the
sign was erected. Then subtract 3096. That will give you YYY. WP2
is located at N 43 03.XXX W 089 31.YYY
At WP2 take the year of death of the man and subtract 1213. This
will give you AAA. Then take the year of the birth of the woman and
subtract 1026. This will give you BBB.
Final is located at N 43 03.AAA W 089 31.BBB
This cache is not located by grave markers or tombstones and as
always, if there are mourners present, please seek the cache at
another time. Take time to enjoy this area and have fun learning
about the history of Middleton Junction in this historical
venue.
