Coastguard Cottages (The Seven Sisters) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LostInTheWoods!: Sadly, I am not going to be able to check on / replace this cache anytime soon. ☹️

So, I am going to archive it in the hope that our now decreasing number of caches will encourage others to lay caches in there places so that we might have some new caches to find. 🙂

Happy Hunting

Geocache Description:

The cache is a 35mm film pot.

As you walk from the Seaford Head parking area, to the west of this cache, the view that unfolds is probably the most photographed and sketched in Sussex. To find the cache you 'could': - look at every published photograph and painting of these Coastguard Cottages; - go to the likely place where the average artist / photographer sat / stood when they captured the view; - use your cacher's eye (and the Additional Hint?) to seek the hiding place. Or, with this not being an Eric Ravilious based Mystery cache, you could just hunt around at where I think a good place would be to take a picture of them, i.e. at the published co-ordinates. Take your own pictures and upload them, even from ground zero, if you like. Go Photomanic!
