Geocache Description:

Chalk Ridge Falls is a nice place to come and spend the day. It has a myriad of trails for hiking or biking and of course, the falls for cooling off afterward. I've spent many an afternoon here since moving to central Texas. It's just one of the many locations responsible for me falling in love with the area.

The tree that hides this cache is one of the fallen of Chalk Ridge. Many have fallen but this one hides a surprise. You are looking for a plastic Lock n' Lock container. I had intended to place this cache in a better hiding spot, but in doing so I made a rookie mistake. I hid it too close to an existing cache. How embarrassing! When you find the cache, there will be a different name on the log book. The name was more appropriate for the previous hiding place than it was for this one, but I was stuck since I didn't have any extra log books on me.

The cache is hidden just off the trail and no bushwhacking is necessary. Please exercise caution in hunting for this cache due to it's proximity to the edge overlooking the creek below. The usual precautions apply here: bring plenty of water, watch your step, beware of plants that poke or cause itch, critters that bite, bugs that sting or anything else that can crimp the mirth.
