Geocache Description:

Located in Musquash Harbour, North of Black Beach.
The cache is a micro.

"This cache is situated on Nature Conservancy of Canada land along the Musquash Estuary which is the last fully functioning estuary (meaning where the sea meets a river) in the Bay of Fundy. The Nature Conservancy of Canada is a national non-profit land conservation organization, and they ask that you enjoy the nature reserve but be respectful of its protected status and stay on the trail. Further information on the Musquash Estuary and maps of the trails can be found on the Nature Conservancy of Canada website at www.natureconservancy.ca/at. You can help the Nature Conservancy of Canada by reporting on the trail condition in your comments!"

I never heard of Cheeseman Beach until just recently. It caught my interest and I decided that it should have a look...and maybe a cache.
Head toward Coleson Cove and take the Burchill Road just before the generating station. Look for dirt trail on the left. An enjoyable walk through the verdant woods was marred by several drop sites of garbage...why are we doing this to our most beautiful province?? Follow the trail to Frenchman's Creek........ and be prepared to get your feet wet.
Please consult the local tide charts (visit link) as Frenchman's creek floods at high tide and will stop your crossing.
After Frenchman's Creek, follow the original trail and keep left after the hydro lines. Follow the GPSr to the cache.

NOTE:This cache is easily found if the approach is from the Burchill Road and if taken at low tide. After crossing Frenchman's Creek, follow the original trail and be sure to bear left. Alders will sweep across the trail, but the original trail is still noticeable. Should take only an hour or so......there and back!!!
This cache was moved from its original position to a spot well above any tidal surge. Please take time to continue on and enjoy the beach.
