Geocache Description:

When I placed this cache, the only things in it were the log and a 2009 penny. I read about another cache like this somewhere down south (I believe), and I thought it would be a neat idea for the Waynesboro area. The object is to trade pennies - but that's not all that there is to it.

The object is to only take the penny if you have another penny to leave in its place. But there's a catch. (Of course - there's always a catch, but this one's not bad. *wink*) The penny that you leave has to be exactly one year older than the one that you are taking. The person who takes the 2009 penny should leave a 2008 penny. The next person can only take that penny if they have one from 2007 to leave behind. And so on, and so on. Please be sure to always log what year is on the penny that you are leaving, so that the next cacher may have an idea as to what year will be necessary to perpetuate the exchange.

You will be able to drive right up to the cache location, but of course, stealth will be crucial. Please be aware of your surroundings, and don't tip off any muggles! Please note also that you do not have to trade pennies in order to log this as a find. Just be clear to indicate if you traded pennies, and what year is left there, so that the next cacher will know.

Please let me know if there is no penny in the cache when you go to look for it. I will go back through the notes and try to determine what year should be there, and will replace it as quickly as I can.
