meljo: I looked for it and cannot find it so I am replacing with a new cache a few feet away. This tree has grown a lot in the past 12 years. The trail is still one of my favorite so want to keep a cache here.

When I knew I was going hiking in this area today I looked for new caches and found none. I also noticed that LBK's Campbell Gorge Rim Trail # 2 has only been found 10 times after being out for over a year.(And by the way, LBK, I did check on your cache and it's there but lonely). I thought, maybe, that by putting another cache in the area it would be an incentive for more cachers to get out here and enjoy our beautiful Chugach St.Park. These trails are great for hiking in the summer and skiing in winter with great views of the mountains and the city.
Just a note it was raining when I place the cache so if the FTF cacher would reconfirm my coordinates I would appreciate it.
