SNICKERS’ ADVENTURE
For all my 10 years, all of my family’s pets have been named
after candy bars. Reese (pronounced Rees-EEE) birthed SNICKERS, who
got lost in ORLEANS PARK when I was 7 ½ years old. She ran away
from everybody, not even the Dog Police could catch her. About a
week later, we got a call and found her behind the Perrysburg
Police Station and she would only to come to us after I bribed her
with lunchmeat, throwing it out a little at a time to get her to
trust us again. She was a great dog to have.
This cache is dedicated to the memory of Snickers and all the
other dogs who love to run away in this park. We had lots of fun
here.
Be careful if you bring your dogs to this park, Snickers’ spirit
might be tempting them to run away. I hope you have fun finding
Brendan’s first cache.
You are looking for a small rectangular camouflaged loc’n loc
(6x3x3), that Snickers did not bury, but I hid it off the beaten
trail a bit to make it sniffable and scratchable for geotracker’s
canine companions.
There is a $ 5 scratch lotto ticket for First to Find, and I filled
the cache with lots of cool kids stuff, no matter how old the
kid.
