Geocache Description:

Professor Schwarz has been found murdered in his country mansion! There are several suspects who saw the Professor shortly before he died, but who claim not to know anything of the foul deed... so which one is the culprit?

Inspector Muttoneer of the Yard cordially invites you to investigate this nefarious crime along with your fellow geocaching detectives at

The Toby Carvery
322 Newton Road
Lowton
WA3 1HD
(just off the A580 East Lancs Road)

Monday 17th August 2009
Arrive from 7pm

Food available until 10pm, children welcome

This event is a good chance to meet up with your fellow geocachers in a spacious and comfortable carvery. We will have our own corner reserved for us, so I need to know approximate numbers a week in advance. Please state in your log how many of you will be attending and if you intend to eat.

So - how does the investigation work? Everyone who wants to take part will be given a series of clues and information as the evening goes on, finishing around 8.45pm. Don't worry if you arrive late - you can still join in. The investigators will then have to decide who committed the crime and how they did so, giving their conclusions to the Inspector by 9pm. There will then be prizes given for the most accurate or inventive answers!

If you've not been to a NW Caching monthly meet before, why not come along and meet other geocachers from the northwest area. Everyone is welcome to attend and to join in with the investigation!
