A great mystery cache to take you back to maths lessons. I have tried to make this as difficult as I can. Look through the notes carefully as the answer is right infront of you.
It is located in a wood, and the coordinates above take you to a suitable parking location about 350m away. The cache is a 1l 'loc' box.
Being a maths teacher I like to challenge the pupils from time to time, well now it is time for the geocachers! Can you beat the current exam crop?
This is split into two parts:
For the N**.**.*** solve the following quadratic by any means.
3x^2 + 5x - 7206.652957 = 1000
(^2 means squared)
Easy!
For W**.**.*** For the final answer I have used standard form that is (a x 10^-4).
The clue is here: 'To create sequence solving longitude'
Find the 4 digits from this place number in the Greek's favourite symbol, and possibly the only Greek symbol you can still remember.
I expect this to be difficult, note the 4 digits you find sub in to a.bcd x 10^-4. (0.000etc)
