Geocache Description:

These towers always seemed to me like sentinels watching over Morton. I hadn't visited them for many years and had forgotten what they represented.
The first monument was erected in 1894 for the white men who fought so bravely during the uprising of 1862. The second monument was erected in 1899 and stands for the friendly Indians that helped save the lives of the white men.
