The cache is a waterproof match holder with a log only, so BYOP. Please take the time to replace the cache just as you found it, so that others will have the same challenge you had and reduce the chances of it going MIA. I have provided no hint for this one, but will reconsider that if there are many DNFs. There are limited hiding places so your geo-sense should get it done for you. I hope you enjoy the hunt.
My wife and I found this spot while exploring the lake and enjoyed it. It has been a while since I have placed a cache and felt this spot deserved one. It looks like this area is frequently used for camping and picnicking. This cache can be accessed by land but is much easier and intended to be accessed from the lake. With the lake up as it is now, a good spot to beach is N 36 30.233 W 082 04.573. The cache is a short easy walk from there. Sadly, as with most places like this we have found around the lake, the area could use some CITO; so do your part.
