A little reading to focus on the history. A little brain warm-up and you're there.
With regards to the man honoured on the plaque, write the year the following happened:-
A – He was born
B – He joined the Kadina depot of the South Australian Infantry Regiment (Citizen Force)
C – He moved to Adelaide
D – He joined the newly created Australian Flying Corp
E - He returned to Australia after serving in the Middle East
F – The year the Royal Australian Air Force was formed
G – He ceased being Chief of the Air Staff
H – He retired from the RAAF
I – He ceased as Director General of Civil Aviation
J – He died
Take the digits from each year and add them until you have only one digit. That will be the numeral you use for that letter.
e.g. if the answer to A was 1952:- 1+9+5+2 = 17; 1+7=8 A=8
