Located about half way up one of our favorite hikes you can find this cache on the western ridge of the trail about 20-30 ft. off the trail itself @ N 21* 18.806 W 157* 42.386 its relatively safe and easy to get to unless you are unprepared. its hidden so that you will want to go close to the edge and look back east. the HWP Cache is @ the base of a small dead tree in a forrest of pine needles. when within 50 ft. of cache continue on the trail towards the summit approximately 50 yards, you will come to a small plateau on your left. walk to the back of this and take a look at a garden dedicated to the Navy Seals of June 28, 2005. Once done with this observation you may continue your way.
