Geocache Description:

Plastic container in FULL CAMO next to a royal view that's only .1 mile from parking! Please close the geo-door on your way out to protect the cache from muggles and weather.

I scouted this hill on google earth before our trip, and was pleased to see there's public access when I brought the two older treasure hunters up here this morning. We stayed in a nice cabin about .4 mile away, way down the hill. Today was our last day of a great vacation in Tahoe Vista, and what a view we found!

The trail starts out a little steep, but not too difficult. Before you get to the water tank, veer right up the shale rock trail. I held my daughter's hand most of the way (she's 5), but my son (7) made it up just fine by himself. Coming down I grabbed his hand a couple times, but it's not that bad if you watch where you're stepping and take it slow.

After taking in the view, turn around and head toward the 3 large trees to find the cache. Most likely not available if there's snow on the ground!
