Chapelle située à l'est de Violot, sur la bordure ouest de la forêt domaniale de Bussières-les-Belmont.
On y accède par un chemin de croix au départ duquel vous pouvez laisser votre voiture.

Un pélerinage s'y déroule chaque année à la veille de la nativité de Marie. En 1914, l'abbé Jean-Edouard Lamy, originaire du Pailly et curé de La Courneuve à Paris, acquiert le pavillon de chasse et la forêt. Il y apporte une statue en bois doré de la Vierge achetée chez un brocanteur de la capitale. Un pélerinage s'organise spontanément au début de septembre 1914 et en 1915, le pavillon est transformé en chapelle. Depuis ce jour, de nombreux promeneurs, fidèles, font le détour par la clairière pour y quérir dépaysement, calme, sérénité, méditation... La paroisse qui regroupe les villages autour de Chalindrey a pris comme dénomination, en 1998, Notre-Dame des Bois. Tout un symbole qui rassemble !

A pilgrimage takes place every year on the eve of Marie's nativity there. In 1914, the abbot Jean-Edouard Lamy, native of Pailly and priest of The Courneuve in Paris, acquires the hunting lodge and the forest. He brings it a gold-coloured wooden statue of the Virgo bought at a secondhand goods dealer of the capital. A pilgrimage gets organized spontaneously at the beginning of September, 1914 and in 1915, the detached house is transformed into chapel. For this day, numerous walkers, believers, make the bend by the clearing for it to look for disorientation, peace, serenity, meditation... The parish which groups includes villages around Chalindrey took as naming, in 1998, Our Lady of Wood. A whole symbol which collects!
