Geocache Description:

Fernwood’s new Railway Garden is calling Geocachers to listen to the clickety-clack of the past and solve the puzzle that leads to the newest set of caches.
Please remember No Pets are allowed on the grounds.
You are welcome to bring picnic lunches or visit the cafe for lunch.

Parking is only allowed at the Mary Plym Visitor Center (the above coordinates). Please enter the grounds through this entrance, then find your way to the Meeting House just off the main Dovecoat/Herb Garden lawn. Normal Visitor Fees apply (see below)

There will be 10 new permanent caches placed on the grounds and everyone will enjoy the new Railway Garden. A special permanent puzzle cache will be created to celebrate this newest addition to Fernwood.

Geocachers always love to share their hobby. Everyone, including new and old cachers, are welcome to stop by, ask questions, and learn about the latest gear. You will definitely find cachers who’ll be happy to take you around the grounds and take you caching.

Please make sure you pick up a map of the grounds and follow Fernwood's no off trail hiking.

You may visit Fernwood during normal operating hours only:
Hours:

  • Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm EDT
  • Sunday: Noon – 6:00 pm EDT
Visitor Fees:
  • $7.00/adult, 19-64
  • $5.00/Senior, 65+
  • $4.00/Students, 13-18
  • $3.00/Students, 6-12
  • Children 5 and under free
FERNWOOD MEMBERS FREE
  • Yearly Membership:
    $40 (up to 3 persons covered) or $50 (up to 6 persons covered)
