This is the first in a series of caches I will be placing along
the CTC (Coast to Crest) trail in the San Dieguito River Park. This expanse of trail
will eventually extend 55 miles from the shores of Del Mar to the
crest of Volcan Mountain near Julian. This cache is close to the
trail, so no bushwacking please! SDRP is one of the few county Open
Space Preserves that still allows Geocaching as long as it's in
compliance with their caching policy. Please be respectful of the
surrounding habitat, and practice CITO.

Follow road to the gravel lot, hike up the road to the Santa Fe
Valley trail head. Cache is located less than a mile west from the
trail head.
