A nice and easy traditional cache by Fresh Pond in Cambridge.
Don't miss the nice view from the little overlook near the cache
(at N 42 23.005, W 71 08.829), although there is a fence between
the two. There is also a little playground there. A bigger
playground is at N 42 22.804, W 71 09.068.
The pond is now fenced in and used as a reservoir, but it had
other uses in the past, especially as a place to harvest ice. You

Please note that the parking lot is officially only for
Cambridge residents, even on weekends. However, street parking is
usually available around the corner, on parts of Huron Ave,
especially by the playground. (Some parts of the street are permit
parking, others are not.)
