Geocache Description:

Should be a fairly easy find near the Sullivan Creek Campground.

Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.

If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC1V6R1 for this cache).

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

This cache has been placed to encourage cachers to take a break along the Victoria Highway. I would have give it a better name, but "Driver Reviver" and "SRR" and similar sets were already taken. Sullivan Creek is a great looking stretch of water, with abundant good sized fish if I'm to believe the two fishos working it when I went out to place the cache. It's also a good spot to spend the night.

I walked out carrying five different containers of different sizes, hoping to find a spot for the largest or at least a "small", but flood debris in the tops of trees had me heading for higher ground, of which there isn't much between the highway and the creek. Crossing the creek would have limited cache access to the dry season only, so a 35mm film canister containing only a log book ended up as the only choice at the time. You will need to bring your own writing implement.

Update 2 Sep 15
The cache container is now a mint tin. My thanks to Little Squirell for the fixup.
