Geocache Description:

This is the first ever cache I have setup and has been placed to commemorate my visit to Barcelona, where I proposed to my girlfriend. Don’t worry, she said yes!!

The cache is a small plastic container in a camo bag to help blend in with the surrounding foliage. Please hide well when replacing as the previous cache was muggled. Watch out for the nettles when approaching the cache!! This cache is the starting/end point for “Manuel’s” journey between Chippenham and Barcelona.

NOTE: please do not take this item, it is needed to keep the pencil sharp :-)

Derriad’s Pond (N 51 27.239, W 002 09.018) There is plenty of roadside parking near these coordinates.

Suggestion: Whilst you are here why don’t you take 30 minutes out of the hunt to explore these lovely woods. If you are very lucky you might even see a Womble in the area… ?

The final location can be very overgrown with nettles, grass and weeds, so you may have to fight your way to the cache. This is my very first cache so please feel free to email me with any suggestions or pointers for this and future caches. Happy Caching!!
