Have you ever wondered where that road goes to?
Now you're about to find out.
Turn off the highway at Mt Carbine, onto Mt Spurgeon rd and follow you're nose. You will need a 4wd to tackle this cache or a vehicle with really good ground clearance.
At the time that the cache was planted the road had been graded, but this road changes with every wet season so drive to the conditions.
If you continue on past the cache you will come to the McLeod river where you'll be greeted with a fantastic camping site.
The road after the McLeod river is however blocked by a locked forestry gate so this is as far as you can go.
