Geocache Description:

This cache has a dual meaning. One of the great TEAM caches used to be here and it was also here to promote a Cache In Trash Out event. Very easy 10 minute hike to the cache and not much further to the summit. Little kids can do it easily.

Oak Haven park was created in 1997 when the large Garden Gate Estates was built nearby. This beautiful Garry Oak meadow was much to rare, sensitive and valuable to damage so luckily it was protected.

It also has a history of having two CRD water reservoirs which can be seen on the hike. One has been partially demolished and a house built nearby but it still looks to be operational at some level.

Keep on known trails as much as possible. Wildflowers are easily damaged. There is a small parking lot off Benvenuto Ave with a small park sign. The #75 also passes by the base of the hill.

CACHE IS UNDER END OF HALF LOG AT EDGE OF MEADOW.
