Down Under is where mrsmike wants to go for her next
holiday. She's got publicity and brochures and will no doubt be
pestering me soon to investigate watering holes, travel
arrangements, etc. Can't understand her fascination with the place
- I mean what's the draw of a country that's stocked with venomous
snakes and deadly spiders, is half desert with a big rock in the
middle, has massive forest fires in the rest of it, is surrounded
by sharks, where the best beer on offer is likely to be a tube of
F**ter's and where you have to hang upside down from the planet?
Maybe it's the prawns on the barbie that's the appeal. I just hope
we win the Ashes this year! Anyway, it got me thinking about
vacations and wondering what my caching friends were doing for a
