Porter/Howard Res - 6 Dog Pond
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This series is hidden around the Porter and Howard reservoirs in Manchester. Fairly easy trails go around and between them, and are well defined. The cache is a little larger than a Jif peanut butter jar.
This cache brings you to a small pond near Howard reservoir called the Dog Pond. Crossing the bridges on either end allow you to continue on to the other side of Howard without jumping the spillway. You are looking for a camouflaged container. Anything further or needed maintenance should be logged for nasajustin to take care of. Thanks and Good Luck! Container is a little larger than a Jif peanut butter jar. Cache is in great condition. A small parking lot located off of Ferguson Road, behind Highland Park School. There is a sign visible from the street and a map/sign located at the trailhead near the parking lot. Sometimes the lot can be full and you may park along the Southern side of the street leading up the parking lot, but DO NOT BLOCK THE PARKING LOT ENTRANCE OR ANY FIRE HYDRANTS. Good Luck!
