The closest place to park is Redewood Road, off of the Heath Road,
but please be considerate to local residents as parking is limited.
It is then a short walk along the footpath behind the houses
towards the water tower and into the woods.
If you enjoy a good ‘hike’, then park at East
Malling and follow the ‘Explore Kent – East Malling
Walk’ found on www.kent.gov.uk/explorekent website.
The cache is placed in Oaken Wood to the South of Ditton Common.
There is a disused water tower nearby which has been converted into
a residence – although currently unoccupied.
This is a small 'lock and lock' type box, and is suitable for
trackables.
This area is well frequented by muggles walking their dogs, so
stealth may be needed, however, you shouldn’t need to wait
long for a gap.
IMPORTANT! The cache itself is not located at the coordinates.
The coordinates will take you to a large rock at the intersection
between two paths. Squat down behind the rock while facing north
and the line of sight along the top of the rock will point to a
tree with four trunks. Stand next to that tree and the cache is
located at the base of the tree on the opposite side of the path
about 6 feet away.
Please be sure to cover the container with natural debris again
when you replace it, as the location is very close to a path.
