in our disclaimer.
Summer or winter this is an easy find in clean terrain– ideal for family or out with the dog.
The name may be deceiving as the city last year cut down my Lilac's but I stand firm by the original name!
No tree climbing!
Parking is to the west in Olympic park by the baseball fields off Upper Horning / Scenic Drive.
This parking lot is just north of Mohawk road.
Parking location is N 43:14.263' W 079: 55.824'
The cache is just a short walk away to the east.
This cache was modeled after one we visited last summer by Port Elgin – thank you!
Notes of Intrest;
On the north edge of the park is a small clump of lilacs and vines and the stump of an old beech nut tree (if the grass is cut). These are the remnants of a farm house that was once near on this spot.
There is a coffee shop nearby to the south (before or after) and to the north is a small stream that winds its way to and over the escarpment.
Watch for onlookers as they may wonder what you are doing. Although this is in a public space please respect property as no digging or damage is required to find this cache in summer or winter.
Enjoy your day!
