Newlyn pier is always good for a stroll. I recommend trying it with
a locally-made icecream in your hand or a bag of chips from the
chippie on Newlyn bridge. (Beware of low-flying gulls!)
The public are allowed onto the pier and many anglers make use of
the far end but please remember that it's a working area - You
enter "at your own risk". It's easy walking but there are ropes and
crates etc that may trip you up if you're not paying attention and
the water is deep and cold. Please keep all children under close
supervision. Dogs are not allowed on the pier.
Seals may be seen either in the harbour itself (look across to
the right, under the fishmarket) or else over the pier wall in the
open sea.
Please search discreetly - You do not need to lift or move
anything to find this cache. Eyes and fingertips are all you need
to locate it.
Congratulations to Newlyn Cachers on the
F.T.F!
