Congrats to Wandadoo and Geotigger for co-FTF!!
In 1991 the Foothills United Methodist Church's Youth Group
began an annual tradition of putting on an original musical comedy
as a combination fundraiser and way to teach the kids from the
junior and senior high youth groups to work together toward a
common goal.
The coordinates as listed are not for the cache, but for a small
memorial plaque which was placed in memory of my father, the
inspiration for much of my twisted humor put on display during
these performances. You will need the middle initial of Richard
Lamy to help solve this puzzle.
This cache location is very close to the performance location
for the FUMC youth comedy/musicals. The coordinates can be obtained
by finding the first three (FUMC History #1, FUMC History #2, and
FUMC History #3) caches in the series and using the included
storyline characters to determine the appropriate location.
The cache coordinates are as follows:
N 38 42.ABC W 120 59.DEF A = 6th letter of Hero of play #1 - 1st
letter of Hero of play #3
B = 5th letter of Hero of play #2 - 1st letter of Heroine of play
#2
C = 1st letter of Heroine of play #3 - 4th letter of Villain of
play #2
D = Total number of words in the Villain of play #3 which start
with the same letter
E = Last letter of the Villain of play #1 + Middle initial of
Richard Lamy (from memorial plaque)
F = Total number of words in the name of the Heroine of play #1 +
Total number of instances of the letter "J" in any of the names
from play #3
The fourth FUMC production, "Robin's Hoods" was was the third of
the subsequent plays completely written from scratch by Gplamy and
wife. It was performed in the spring of 1994, and followed the
fractured familiar fairy tale of down-on-his-luck Nick, who is
every upstaged by the notorious Sir John of Flushing as they both
try to woo the favors of Princess Aurora.
Each cache in this series will have information regarding the
characters of the Hero, Heroine, and Villan of that particular
play. Make a note of these character names when you find the cache,
as they will play a part in locating every fourth cache in this
series. Caches GC1V830, GC1V90E, and GC1V936 will all contain part
of the information necessary to locate this cache GC1V91E.
