So exactly what is "CITO" and what does it have to do with you?

As described by groundspeak:

Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community.
Since 2002, geocachers have been dedicated to cleaning up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world.
Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

While we hope everyone does some CITO while caching, please do not trash the cache.

Oil is recycled very close to the cache however there is no reason to touch anything oily or dirty or dead.
Come to think of it, there is no reason to look in or on any of the recycle bins or in the bushes and trees either?
