Geocache Description:


"I know a place where no one ever goes
There’s peace and quiet, beauty and repose
It’s hidden in a valley beside a mountain stream
And lying there beside it
I find that I can dream "

Those are lyrics from a camp song we used to sing years ago and for some reason when I visit the small cemeteries, it always comes to mind. They may not be "hidden in a valley beside a mountain stream" but they are peaceful places to me. I have enjoyed finding some of the small graveyards that others have brought me to while caching and I wanted to share a few of the ones I have found.

This is one of the two I go by on my way to visit my mom in Canandaigua. It is listed as the Tilton or New Michigan Cemetery and there are only a few graves. Enjoy the quiet while you look for the cache. Please do not search after dark.

Cache container is someplace between small and a micro. Please rehide it carefully. The grounds here seem well kept up and it could easily be discovered if left exposed. There was a pencil when I hid it but bring one to be sure.
