This hide is just off the Buck's/Oroville highway with plenty of parking. We are finally getting around to updating this cache.. Be fixed up very soon!
You're looking for a white pill bottle on the west side of Buck's Summit, down at the bottom of hill. This pull-out used to be a transfer site for the Buck's Lake garbage. We used to bring our kids up here to get some real close-up night-time views of the bears that would frequent the garbage containers. Fun! :-) Those days are over, but be sure and try and see this spot in June and early July for the blooming of pussypaw and selfheal wildflowers. The deerbrush is awesome too! Have fun!
