This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

Low Batteries

I had a box of things and an idea. I needed somewhere to place my second cache, but where do I put it? So I loaded up with my GPS and my boy Ian and we took a ride out into the south star trails (its not up there).
We rode around until a spot just jumped right out at me saying "PUT ME HERE!!" It was just begging for a cache! So I got out my trusty GPS to log my coordinates and red lights were flashing on my screen. 'LOW BATTERIES' Trust me to go out caching without bringing any new batteries along with me! Good thing we weren't out in the middle of nowhere bushwacking. Anyways, I got the coords and we made it back safely without too much trouble.

Then, I came home and entered the coords into Geocaching.com to publish my listing and our publisher said it was a little bit too close to another cache. So off we went to find our cache again to hide it somewhere else. So now you will have to take 38th ave and park at the end of 45th St S. and hike in, or bring your atv and go for a short tour. If you follow the trails up you should have no problem. If you bushwack, the difficulty is a bit higher. Hope you have fun!

Contents include: Log book, Pencil, Sharpener, 430 Bobcat Excavator, 3 keychains, a drywall dimpler, and a roll of pennies.
