Geocache Description:

The cache is a small rectangular clip top box, at ground level, situated a short easy walk from a parking spot.

The Curse of the FTF Leicestershire #1 - Normanton Wood

There are a few "Curse of the FTF" caches in the UK the rules are really simple

1. Whoever find the cache first should place the next cache in the series (The Curse of the FTF Leicestershire #2) within 1 month. Otherwise the curse will prevent you from ever getting another FTF again MuahHAHA

2. It is asked that you only be a FTF for this series once. This is to give others a chance to be the FTF.

3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.)

4. When the next cache is placed e-mail the owners of all the preceding caches so a link can be added

So I've decided to start a Curse of.... series in Leicestershire

The first one is placed on the boundary of Normanton Woods, a 16.9 acre piece of land bought by the Woodland Trust in 1998 and planted with oak, ash and various shrubs as part of their Woodlands for the Millenium Project

Normanton Wood is between the villages of Earl Shilton and Thurlaston and can be accessed from either Thurlaston Lane or Earl Shilton Road. There are views toward Croft Hill and back to Earl Shilton and it's a great place to take the dogs (just don't forget to CITO)

The cache is just outside the Woodland Trust boundary to avoid placement issues

*****Congratulations to Konakid on the FTF ********************
