The cache can be accessed by a variety of routes - from the road above either by steps, or over a style and rough track (from the east), or for a flater route by tarmac road followed by fairly flat gravely path and grass (from the west). Terrain rating may be higher than listed if approaching via some of the steeper paths in the area.
Parking directly on the A259 is not recommended. It shouldn't be too difficult to find safer parking either near the marina or in residential roads just north of the coast road.
Please take care with children in the vicinity of the cache as there is a deep canal nearby without railings!
This area can be popular with dog walkers and people fishing, so some stealth may be required at busier times.
The cache is small with space for a few swaps as well as the logbook and pencil (please do not remove the pencil from the cache - Thanks!).
