Geocache Description:


A camping event from 25th -27th September on the North Coast of Somerset. Taking place at Warren Bay Holiday Village at Watchet. Camping field is set to the back of the campsite right next to the coast. The field has VERY limited electric hook up points and these will go on a first come first served basis. Be aware that the camping field is a bit slopey and it is advised to bring a smaller rather than larger tent as it will be easier to find a flattish spot for a small tent. Tariff for camping is £11 per night for two people and £1.50 extra per additional person. Dogs are welcome on leads. BBQ's are allowed on legs or on stones. The beach is a private section of coastline ideal for fossil hunting.

BOOKING:
After speaking to the campsite they have said there is no need to book just turn up and they have plenty of room! It is a 7 acre field.

Nearby is Watchet which has a museum, amenities, fish & chip shop etc, and a co-op. Minehead is a short drive away and has more facilities.

WE WILL BE STARTING A TRAVEL BUG/COIN RACE FROM THE EVENT SO BRING ALONG SOMETHING FOR THAT!!!!! :-) :-)

Travel Bug race will be for the TB's to visit THREE Mega events including the Mega Event in Perth Scotland in July 2010. The TB's will then need to return to a cache nominated by us (will be a Somerset cache) to claim victory. Prize will be an unactivated Geocoin. Race page now added. Get your Bugs ready.
