Denna Jättegryta ligger strax utanför Hestra och kan nås via vandringsled som är vitmarkerad. Det finns en brant väg dit och en mer skonsam. Utmaningen är att ta den branta vägen ( från Järnvägssidan ). På slutet får man hjälp att komma upp med rep.
Jättegrytan är ca 160 cm djup.

En jättegryta är en fördjupning i ett berg, bildat genom att strömmande vatten fått en större sten tillsammans med grus och mindre stenar att rotera runt i en virvel under lång tid. Många stora jättegrytor skapades under istiderna genom att en större sten roterades med framforsande smältvatten tillsamans med grus och mindre stenar längst ner mot glaciärens botten. Stenen som har bidragit till jättegrytan ligger oftast kvar i botten än i dag.

This Giant pot is just outside Hestra and is possible to reach trough a foot path passing by. ( marked with white signs ).
There is one steeply way and one more easy to the pot.
The challenge is to take the steep way ( from the railwayside ).
At the end you got help with a rope to reach the pot.
The Giant pot is about 160 cm deep.

A pothole is a deepening of a valley, formed by flowing water had a larger stone with gravel and small stones to rotate around in an eddy for a long time. Many large pothole created during the Ice Age by a larger stone rotated by the rushing melt water together with gravel and small stones at the bottom to the glacier bottom. Stone who have contributed to the giant pot is usually left in the bottom today.
