Benedick Potato Farm Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cornfarrell: Looks like the bulldozer got to this one as they stripped the fields of any elevation changes here for new ball fields. GRRRRRRR so much for the farm.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the edge off the Benedick Farm field, which is a new Town of Montgomery park. There is no need to bushwhack through the field. You can find mowed tractor paths that follow the edge of the field and cut through in a couple places. My son and his friends love to sit in the back of the truck while we drive slowly on these field trails. They bounce and laugh and it reminds me of the simple pleasures I enjoyed as a child.

FYI>Planting potatoes is easy.

I just take the ones out of my pantry and cut them into pieces with at least two eyes each. I take them out to a sunny spot in the garden and stick them in the ground in the spring. Come fall I'll dig carefully to find lots of potatoes grown from each piece.
