Geocache Description:

An unusual cache just off the playground area in a park.

This cache is located in Onslow County's newest park dedicated in 2008 in the community of Deppe (often mispronounced "deep"). The park is on property obtained from Weyerhauser, funded in part by a PARTF grant, and if you look you can see how the pine trees all line up! This wonderful little park has a tot play lot with equipment, volleyball court, horseshoe pit and of course- a nearly mile long walking trail that is gravel. Deer tracks can be seen on the trail, and listen for all the birds flying around. In warmer months- don't forget bug repellant and keep an eye out for our slithering friends!
