Close to the Liverpool water reservoir, on top of Mt Misery.
Number three in the Liverpool water series, this cache is next to the original Liverpool reservoir, and its much bigger replacement.
Water was taken from the Lower Canal which feeds Prospect Reservoir, at the cache site for Liverpool Water #1, treated and gravity fed to the old reservoir, up until 1960, when the much larger reservoir was built, and water was fed to it directly from Prospect.
Not for the height challenged!
